Homework: Due Friday

Read Out of Bounds: The Noose + Double Entry Journal

We started the Do Now, it was about important dates we found in our readings we have used throughout Quarter 2. Then we had a small discussion about the Do Now, we put three important dates from the Do Now on the timeline. After we finished the Do Now we started working on our Quick Write 2.
While we edited our Quick Write 2 I saw Lupe really focusing on her writing and when she could not figure out something on her own she would ask Mrs. Vallillo for help. She also asked a lot of questions and was being very Curious. Great Job Lupe.

We had a small discussion about what we had done so far and what we had to focus on, which was describing the picture.

After we finished Mrs. Vallillo gave the class a sheet and it was and example of her quick write about a different picture. This was our Writer's Workshop. We had to fix the sentences and change it to show not tell. After we did the first part we had to fix the next sentences on our own with our partners.
