Photos from China Activity
Section A From Activity
The Boxers Rebellion

Section B From Activity
The Boxer Rebellion
To start with the day, we all did the Do Now sheet (like always) which was to enter Popplet, create a new document, share it with the person sitting next to you, name it Investigation: China, create a box that says China at the Beginning of the 20th Century, and create boxes with questions in them about this topic based on what we read yesterday about The Boxer Rebellion. After we all finished the Do Now, we did an activity about China. Ms.V laid some pictures at our desks and we had to match them with words we read yesterday. When we were done, Ms.V would say a word and you would raise the image you thought corresponded to it.After that, we had to answer 4 questions about the section we read yesterday about The Boxer Rebellion(part A or B).If you had time, you could do the challenge, but it was not required. After we checked with the person sitting next to us, we had to check with another table (the person sitting next to you also checked with you and the other table together)that had read the other section. When you had finished that, you also had to write the other table's response on the other side of the paper.I would like to give a shout out to Rachel Safdie, for helping me when I was in trouble,Lupe and Victoria, for being so concentrated on their work, and Lucas Nigro, for his great explanation on the first activity(After the Do Now). I would like to remind you that there is no homework, but if you already have purchased the book Ties that Bind,Ties that Break, bring it on Friday to class.
