The Soweto Uprising - Humanaties

Friday, in humanities, we talked a little bit more about the Soweto Uprising.  The class did great in digging deep into the focuses.  We watched an interview with a boy's sister, who was shot during the riots, in fact, the first person to die.  He was 13 years old when he participated in the riots.  He was in one side of the street and his sister was in the other.  As soon as he was shot, the crowd started getting angrier.  The police who arrived in the beginning of the riots were few.  There were 42 black cops, 8 white ones, and 2 dogs.  After some moments of battling, the crowd had finished with both dogs and were shouting louder every minute.  We also focused in perspectives and in different points of view.
