What is Poetry?

The first thing we did today was our Do Now.   Today’s do now was Quizlet. We studied words from the book, Boys without names. If you had trouble you can go back to last weeks Quizlet. Then like always we went over our Learning Targets.

        We then looked at a poem of the Triangle Factory and tried to rebuild it. The poem was cut into pieces and we had to organize it how we thought the poem was.     We then moved on to What is Poetry. We started drawing in our desks what we think is poetry. Rachel and Isabela were writing our ideas and Felipe were cold calling people. Then we read a poem about what was a poem. Photo of poem.
