Humanaties class today

Today, October 31, 2013,  in humanities we started the class by doing a quick thank you note to Mr. Fernandez. After, all the students opened their computers and logged into quizlet to study the Soweto Uprising and the Apartheid. Our learning targets that Ms.Vallillo set for us today are: I can explain what APARTHEID is and I can write a factual summary without personal bias.

Next, we all opened a document and filled in what the meanings of the laws in the Apartheid. We used little cards to research on the laws. We had to summarize the laws in our own words and we had to get a picture that makes you remember about the meaning of the law. After that, we began to pre read the book Out Of Bounds and we got to read the first few pages. We read the back cover of the book first and we got to know that the book has something about the Apartheid because they say they live near Johannesburg, that is in Africa,  and they are in 1948.

  1. Matheus,
I really liked how you put each event in its true order, so that course of the class was clear. Also, the reader had a clear on his mind, because of your many and high quality photographs. Good job!

  2. I liked how you were detailed and explain exactly what we did. However I thought you could have included more pictures so we could get a visual of how exactly the class LOOKED. Overall, it was great.

  4. I like how you descried very carefully what we did through our day. Each and every thing that happened you recorded in this blog post. I like how the pictures were about what we did and you had enough pictures, but I personally think that they could be closer so you can clearly see the picture. Overall, nice job with the post.

  5. Matheus,
I really liked that you used pictures that showed what you were talking about. Also I liked that you were descriptive in your writing about what we did in class. Keep on the hard work!

  6. I liked your blog post because you took pictures of the exact things that you described. For example, you said we wrote a Thankyou letter to Mr. Fernandez and then you took a picture of one of the Thankyou letters. If you could improve on one thing, I think it would be to add captions to your pictures. Overall, your post was exactly on the point!

  8. Matheus, I really liked how you described each event we did in order and was like a schedule of what we did. The pictures were great and with good quality but you should've put more pictures that looked exactly how our class was. You did a great job!
